The Digital Preservation Coalition was established in 2001 to foster joint action to address the urgent challenges of securing the preservation of digital resources in the UK and to work with others internationally to secure our global digital memory and knowledge base." Digital Curation Centre
The Digital Curation Centre supports UK institutions ability to store, manage and preserve these data to ensure their enhancement and their continuing long-term use. The purpose of our Centre is to provide a national focus for research into curation issues and to promote expertise and good practice, both national and international, for the management of all research outputs in digital format.

Digital Library Federation
Building on the work of the Commission on Preservation and Access (CPA), CLIR and the DLF remain committed to maintaining long-term access to the digital intellectual and scholarly record. They have a particular interest in practical initiatives and in research into most poorly understood areas. Digital Preservation Cluster (Network of Excellence on Digital Libraries [DELOS])
The objectives of the Digital Preservation Cluster include the coordination and promotion of European digital preservation research and projects, the development of testbeds, and dissemination of research results.

Networked European Deposit Library (NEDLIB)

The National Library of Australia's Preserving Access to Digital Information (PADI) initiative aims to provide mechanisms that will help to ensure that information in digital form is managed with appropriate consideration for preservation and future access.

Digitale Duurzaamheid (Digital Longevity) ( Dutch National Archives)
The Digital Duurzaamheid department functions as a knowledge centre for the management and preservation of digital information. It collects information relating to digital longevity in the digital knowledge bank of this website, and informs and advises government organizations on the issues surrounding digital longevity through its publications, presentations, and events. The site features an extensive Knowledgebase of worldwide digital preservation activities in addition to project publications.
